Man arrested for allegedly backing into victim with SUV
MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - A Myrtle Beach man is behind bars after allegedly attacking a woman during a drunken argument over the weekend.
In an incident report obtained by WMBF News, officers responding to a reported domestic dispute on Blue Wing Drive in Murrells Inlet discovered a female victim crying the front yard.
The victim said that she had been drinking with the male suspect when he lost control, got into her car and backed into her, causing her to hit her head on the concrete. The suspect then sped away and hit several mailboxes in the neighborhood.
The victim claims that the suspect returned to the home shortly after and sped up the driveway, but he turned away from the house, hit an electrical box and parked in a vacant lot beside the home.
