Coroner identifies woman hit by car, killed in Georgetown Co. | News
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC)- The Georgetown County Coroner's Office has released the name of the woman killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in Georgetown County Monday morning.
Deputy Coroner Paulette Radcliffe identified the victim as 46-year-old Doris Bryant.
South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers say Bryant was standing in Powell Road just after 6 a.m. when she was struck by a Georgetown woman traveling east in a Honda Accord.
Troopers say no charges will be filed against the motorist since Bryant was standing in the middle of the road.
