A great day for the beach | Weather

LOWCOUNTRY (WCSC) - Live 5 Meteorologist Chad Watson says it's a great day to be on the beach:

Another sunny start welcomed us into Tuesday and the clear sky will last just about all day long. We will watch the temps rise from the morning lows into the mid-70s by lunchtime. Some thin clouds may pass overhead from time to time but should not keep us from getting to a high this afternoon in the lower 80s away from the beaches. Winds will stay light from the southwest at 5-10 mph. UV index is high today at the beaches and the rip current risk is low so enjoy a great day at the area beaches if you can. Cooler weather is moving in tonight as most of us go to bed. Lows on Wednesday morning will again be in the 40s inland and in the 50s closer to the water. With cool air filtering in all day...we won't break out of the 60s on Wednesday and Thursday.
